Hostel Days

The college days in hostel,
are the most enjoyable.
Getting up with kicks,
sitting together for group studies.
Completing each other's assignments,
trying each other's dresses for the best compliments.
One can not remain upset for long,
as roommates take them along.
Birthdays are more amazing than new years,
it is celebrated at 12 midnight without fears.
If one is sick,
rest become doctors ready to treat.
The moment one decides to go home,
she has to bring mother-made food as ordered by them on phone.
Gradually friends become family,
and you have some one to share all your secrets finally.
The moment brings tears,
when they complete their degree and move on with their own careers.
